I started this operation in 2016 after ten years in building-envelope work across Orange County. What I noticed then, and still see now, is that most homeowners never get to see the actual problem. They get told their attic is “under-insulated,” handed a price, and left guessing whether anything changed after the crew left. We don’t do that. Every job I oversee gets a written scope, a flat price signed before work starts, and a documented photo record when the crew packs up. On air-sealing jobs, I want the blower-door test reading in your hand, before and after, so you know exactly how much conditioned air stopped leaking through your top plates and can-light penetrations. I live in North Tustin with my family. When I’m not on a job site, I’m usually restoring a 1978 F-250 that has taught me more about patience than any attic ever could.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running Tustin-area attics since 2019, and he’s the person who decides whether your job needs blown-in fiberglass, spray foam, or a hybrid approach after the air sealing is done. He’s BPI-certified in building analyst and envelope professional, which means he can read a thermal camera and a blower-door manometer with equal fluency. His specialty is retrofitting older Tustin homes, the ones built in the 1960s and 70s with zero original insulation and rodent damage that the homeowner didn’t know about until we opened the hatch. Marcus keeps a laminated card in his truck with the exact R-value requirements for Tustin’s Climate Zone 3, and he checks it on every job. Off the clock, he coaches a U-14 soccer team in Orange and has developed strong opinions about attic hatch sizing that he will share whether you ask or not.
Diana R., Senior Installer
Diana joined us in 2021 after six years with a commercial insulation contractor in Santa Ana, and she brought with her a precision that translates directly to residential work. She handles our spray foam installations and radiant barrier retrofits, the two jobs where a half-inch mismeasure or a missed seam costs you performance for the next twenty years. Diana is particularly good at explaining to homeowners why we seal first and insulate second, usually by pointing to the blower-door pre-test and showing them the smoke pencil tracing air movement around their can lights. She lives in Irvine, grew up in a house with no insulation in the walls, and mentions this fact more often than anyone on the crew thinks is necessary. Her photo records are the most thorough in the company, and she once documented 147 images on a single crawl space encapsulation in the Tustin Legacy area.
Jorge H., Service Coordinator
Jorge answers the phone when you call (657) 286-7673, and he’s the one who makes sure a live person picks up 24 hours a day, no voicemail loops, no “leave a message and we’ll call back Tuesday.” He’s been with us since 2018, which means he’s heard every variation of “my upstairs is ten degrees hotter than my downstairs” and knows which questions to ask before we dispatch a technician. Jorge schedules the appointments, confirms the written price has been delivered and signed before any work starts, and follows up after the job to make sure the photo record and blower-door numbers landed in your inbox. He grew up in Tustin, still lives near Old Town, and can tell you which neighborhoods were built with rat slab foundations versus raised perimeter walls without checking a map.
Aisha K., Apprentice Installer
Aisha came on in 2024 through a trade program partnership and is working toward her BPI Building Analyst certification while she learns the physical side of the job. Right now she handles insulation removal, attic cleaning, and rodent proofing, the unglamorous work that has to happen before the new material goes in. She’s already developed a reputation for finding entry points that experienced techs missed, usually by crawling to the far corners of eaves that most people avoid. Aisha grew up in a household where her father did all his own home repairs poorly, which she says taught her to value documented work and written warranties. She lives in Santa Ana and commutes to our Tustin shop, and she’s the reason we now keep a dedicated set of headlamps charged for every truck after she pointed out that the stock lighting was inadequate for soffit inspections.
